Senior Business Analyst

Salary: 45k -50k

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Business Analyst with an in depth knowledge of Agile development.

This is a key strategic position with one of the largest e-commerce companies in the market.

They take a highly innovative approach to giving their customers the most compelling and entertaining gaming experience possible.

The successful candidate for this role will be working with scrum teams to translate technical tasks and assisting Product Owner in defining business requirements and delivering product features in a specified timeline.

Main responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable documentation for the development teams;
  • Write Agile-based stories that conform to best practices including acceptance criteria, positive and negative paths, etc.
  • Collaborate within your Cross Functional Team (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Support and Professional Services) and drive communication of releases including new features and defects to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Provide business with updates on project status while recording and communicating any risks or issues that might impact project deadlines;
  • Be an expert on user experience; define and execute users' stories that ensure an outstanding customer experience when using feature/product.

Requirements:

  • Certification / experience in areas related to Product management, Scrum or Agile methodologies;
  • Be an expert of how Scrum Agile works in a software development environment;
  • Bachelors/ Master's Degree with 3-5 years' experience as a Software Engineer or Software Support roles;
  • Demonstrated experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria and Agile Software development;
  • Experience with Phyton, MySQL, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, ReactJS or Jira is an advantage.
